A diario observamos entrenamientos en espacios reducidos con diferentes correlaciones numéricas entre los equipos. A veces 2, 3 y hasta 4 equipos participando y rotando entre ellos según las reglas del juego. Sin embargo, como siempre, lo ÚNICO importante es el OBJETIVO que se persigue.

Cuando buscamos la posesión por la posesión en sí, tendemos a darle prioridad a un equipo que posee más jugadores que el adversario. Sin embargo estas situaciones en un partido real se dan (o se daban) principalmente en campo propio cuando construíamos el juego desde atrás. Actualmente, con la modificación en la regla que el portero puede comenzar jugando pasando el balón a compañeros situados dentro del área penal, ha llevado a los rivales a presionar a la salida del balón, y por lo tanto esa superioridad numérica ya se cuestiona. El poder recuperar el balón en las cercanías de la portería adversaria para marcar gol, ha cambiado el fútbol y por ende, sus metodologías de entrenamiento.

Cuando pasamos la mitad del campo en ataque, los espacios se reducen; esa superioridad numérica en ataque se esfuma y se pasa a jugar con balón en inferioridad numérica, lo que amplifica el principio táctico de la movilidad para poder avanzar hacia la meta adversaria. Por tanto, si ya entrenamos en espacios reducidos en ataque con el objetivo de convertir goles, es IMPRESCINDIBLE entrenar a nuestros futbolistas a atacar en inferioridad numérica y a lograr la superioridad posicional que permita marcar goles. Esta SÍ es una situación real de juego……

Daily we observe training sessions in small or reduced spaces with different numerical correlations between teams. Sometimes 2, 3 and up to 4 teams participating and rotating among them according to the rules of the game. However, as always, the ONLY important thing is the GOAL we are pursuing.

When we look for possession as the main objective of the game, we tend to prioritize a team that has more players than the opponent. However, these situations in a real game occur (or occurred) mainly in our own field when we built the game from the back. Currently, with the modification in the rule that the goalkeeper can start playing by passing the ball to teammates placed inside the penalty area, it has led the rivals to press the opponents inside the box when the ball moves, and therefore that numerical superiority is already questioned. Being able to regain the ball close to the opponent's goal to score has changed football and, therefore, its training methodologies.

When we pass the centerline of the field in attack, the spaces are reduced; that numerical superiority in attack vanishes and they start to play with the ball in numerical inferiority, which amplifies the tactical principle of mobility in order to advance towards the opponent's goal. Therefore, if we already train in reduced spaces in attack with the aim of scoring goals, it is ESSENTIAL to train our players to attack in numerical inferiority and to achieve positional superiority that allows scoring goals always combining the offensive tactical principles of the game.
