The Process: from Grassroots to Highest Level.

From Technique to Tactics:

*Technique: pass, control, dribbling, movement to a free space, shot......

*Tactics: how "to break" pressure/pressing through one-two touches, speed, change of pace/direction of the game, ocupation of free spaces.....

The only drill that does not work is the one that is not practiced, but it has to have a clear and precise objective.

No mysteries, only knowledge.

Is the transition Defense-Attack faster than the transition Attack-Defense? (see the two goals in the attached videos)

In "Tactics from the Roots", we explain that when a team is in the attacking phase, not all its players have to be thinking in scoring; part of them, the closest to the opponent goal think in attack and the others should think in carrying out correct vigilances on the forwards of the team that is defending in order to delay or to neutralize their counterattack in case that they regain the possession of the ball.

The beauty of the Football is related to the mistakes the teams commit. Usually, the team that commits less mistakes and make good use of the mistakes of its opponent is the winner, and of course, to score one more goal than the rival.

But......football is not mathematics, that´s why it is the most wonderful game in the world!

Interesting last report of the CIES in order to understand better and in deep the European reality of the football and its clubs.

This kind of studies could be useful in order to analyze the reality of the football in any country too, and drawing conclusions for establishing rules and regulations advisedly.
